Dr Daniel Villar-Onrubia, SFHEA

Daniel works as Principal Project Lead at the Disruptive Media Learning Lab (DMLL) and is an Oxford Internet Institute DPhil alumnus. His work focuses on Education & Technology, the development and assessment of Digital Competences, Open Educational Resources (OER), Connected Learning and Internationalisaton of the Curriculum (IoC). More generally, he is interested in the social and cultural implications of information and communication technologies and the role of the Internet and computerisation in everyday life.

Dr Luca Morini

Luca Morini works as Research Associate at Coventry University’s Disruptive Media Learning Lab. He has been working in higher education since 2010, teaching Psychology of Education, Psychology of Inclusion and Ecology of Human Development, always with an emphasis on the impact of new media ecologies. He gained his PhD in Education and Communication at the University of Milano Bicocca (Italy) in 2015, with a dissertation on DIY game co-creation, and joined Coventry University shortly after, where he continues working mainly on projects that try to bridge play and learning.

Dr Luis Pereira

Luis works as Academic Developer (Senior Lecturer) and Learning Technologist at Coventry University. He has an extensive experience in the higher education sector, having since 2003 been a lecturer, researcher and academic developer. He gained his PhD in Digital Literacy at the University of Minho (Portugal) in 2012. Luis joined Coventry University in 2014.
